Shipping Policy for Golden Cask Bourbon

This “Shipping Policy” outlines the shipping and delivery process upon purchasing products from Golden Cask Bourbon through our website. Golden Cask Bourbon reserves the right to update or change this Shipping Policy from time to time. If we make changes, we will notify you by revising the date at the top of this policy and, in some cases, we may provide you with additional notice (such as sending you an email). We encourage you to review this Shipping Policy before placing an order to stay informed about shipping requirements and delivery details. Unless otherwise defined in this Shipping Policy, terms used herein have the same meanings as in Golden Cask Bourbon’s Terms of Use.

1. Legal Notice

The products are sold within the state or jurisdiction where the supplier is located, and title to the product(s) passes to the customer once the product is delivered to a common carrier in the supplier’s jurisdiction. By placing an order with a supplier via our website, you authorize the supplier to ship the product(s) on your behalf via a common carrier to your chosen destination. The common carrier acts as your agent in this process. You may wish to insure your shipment, as Golden Cask Bourbon does not provide such insurance and has no control over the supplier’s products or delivery.

2. Order Processing

Once you place an order for product(s) through our website, you will be notified that your order has been received. Within 48 hours, you will be informed whether:

  1. The supplier has accepted your order and will ship the product(s) as requested.
  2. The supplier has accepted your order, but the product(s) is delayed or on backorder.
  3. Due to supplier complications, your order has been rejected.

Credit card payments will not be processed if you are notified that the supplier has rejected your offer. If the products you ordered are in stock, the supplier will use their best efforts to ship the products within 3-5 business days. Tracking information will be sent to you via email from UPS or FedEx. 3. Age Verification

The website and services are intended for users who are at least 21 years of age. Persons under the age of 21 are prohibited from using the website or placing an order. By placing an order with a supplier via the website, you confirm that you are at least 21 years old. Golden Cask Bourbon reserves the right to request proof of identity before granting access to the website or allowing the purchase of product(s).

By placing an order, you verify that both you and/or the recipient are at least 21 years of age. At the time of delivery, the recipient must sign an age verification receipt and present a valid government-issued ID (e.g., driver’s license, military ID, passport, or state ID). All shipments must be signed for by an individual who is at least 21 years old.

According to UPS policy, if there is no individual of at least 21 years of age present to sign for the package after three (3) unsuccessful delivery attempts, the package will be returned to the sender. The package can be reshipped, but a $20 reshipping fee will apply.

4. States

Golden Cask Bourbon does not assist suppliers in shipping to states where the direct shipment of alcoholic products is prohibited. Therefore, the website will only allow you to place an order for shipment to states where alcohol shipments are legal.

5. Delivery Charges

All deliveries are made by ground transportation through UPS. Delivery charges vary depending on the size, weight, and destination of the product(s). We are unable to deliver to P.O. Boxes. Golden Cask Bourbon will make its best efforts to notify you of any shipment delays due to weather conditions. Three attempts will be made to deliver the package. If no adult is available to sign for the package, it will be returned to Golden Cask Bourbon, and a $20 reshipping fee will apply if you would like the items to be sent again.

6. Damaged Products Disclaimer

Golden Cask Bourbon is not responsible for any product damage during shipping. If any products are damaged during transit, please contact us at contact@goldencaskbourbon.com so that we can file a claim with the shipping company. Shipping charges are non-refundable. We recommend considering potential weather conditions when ordering, as extreme temperatures (hot or cold) may damage products during shipping. If you request to have your order held until weather conditions are more suitable, we will accommodate your request at no additional cost.

7. Special Shipping Taxation

Certain states require sales tax on alcohol products. These taxes may vary depending on the state, and the applicable sales tax will be added to your total purchase price. You will be informed of any sales tax charges prior to completing your order.

8. Delivery of Products

Delivery can only be made to an address where an individual at least 21 years of age can sign for the shipment during regular business hours. Products may be shipped to either a business or residential address. Both the purchaser and recipient must be over 21 years old to purchase alcohol.

Warning: Some states prohibit the direct importation of alcohol. Violating these laws may result in legal penalties. Please contact your local alcoholic beverage control agency for more information. Additional restrictions may apply in certain states regarding the type and quantity of products that can be shipped to an individual address.

Golden Cask Bourbon and its affiliates make no claims regarding the rights of customers to receive shipments in their state or jurisdiction. If you are uncertain about the legality of shipping to your location, please consult your local governing agency before placing an order. Shipping is void where prohibited by law.
