An outrider is an equestrian term, referring to the one who stands apart from a band of horses for the purposes of herding, keeping the others from wandering astray.

Wyoming Whiskey Outryder has recently changed its designs, and as the original labels are being phased out, there is still a chance that you might receive a bottle different than what is in the picture. Rest assured, the liquid remains the same, regardless of the design.

About Wyoming Whiskey Outryder

Wyoming Whiskey Outryder is a unique straight American whiskey with higher rye content, falling just short of a true rye whiskey. It is crafted from two different mash bills that were distilled in November of 2011. The first mash bill contains 48% winter rye, 40% corn, and 12% malted barley and the second reflects a traditional bourbon mash bill of 68% corn, 20% winter rye, and 12% malted barley. These non-GMO grains are grown in Byron, Wyoming by Rageth Farms. Bottled in bond, it delights with flavors of fresh ginger snap in balance with lemon cake, vanilla, and freshly milled grain. The best of bourbon and rye in one bottle. Wyoming Whiskey Outryder was awarded 90 points & Highly Recommended by Wine Enthusiast and 93 points by Whisky Cast in 2016. Pick up your bottle today!

About Wyoming Whiskey

In the small town of Kirby, Wyoming — population 92 — Brad Mead, a fifth-generation rancher whose family first came to Wyoming in 1890, is continuing a tradition of “firsts.” While his family has produced U.S. senators, lawyers, extreme skiers and two governors of Wyoming, Brad, along with his wife Kathy and their son Sam, established the first legal distillery in Wyoming State in 2009, and has been making exceptional, handmade whisky ever since.

About American Whiskey

There are two main representatives of the American whiskey family, bourbon, and rye, but some other spirits don’t fall into those two strictly regulated categories.

There’s equally strictly regulated American single malt, made from 100% malted barley, Tennessee whiskey, essentially bourbon filtered through maple charcoal and aged in new charred oak barrels.

And then there’s moonshine, a high proof (150- 170 proof) distilled spirit mainly made out of corn which gained popularity during the prohibition.

Check out our impressive selection of American single malts, or find your new favorite in our rich whisk(e)y selection, and get familiarized with what the world has to offer.
